These panels were made for a house that was reconstructed in the site of a bomb crater. The house is a skillful blend of new and old so that while the front is very traditonal, matching it's Victorian neighbour, the panels are a colourful modern touch that hint at the changes inside. The customers wanted themes in the panels that reflected their attachment to Brockley and the surrounding the area; the great views of London skylines that you see from the heights of Brockley Parks to St Peters Church in Brockley, the Crystal Palace tower and Sphinx and views of Thames life. The composition of the panels with their fractured look also reflects the hilly nature of Brockley. This house has featured in London Open House for it's creative blend of traditional and modern building styles and is well worth a visit! Ref: md27a |
