Period Styles: Victorian
The Victorian era saw a massive revival in stained glass with large scale factories competing to fill the newly built properties with decorative glass. There were 2 main styles: geometric i.e. repeating patterns that could be softened by floral inserts, or organic shapes often symmetrical or 'handed' in a set. The Victorian style was very durable and was still being made long after the official end of the period in 1901.
